About Michelle

I spent years saving other people. Then my own body asked for help.

I'm Michelle. Former ER nurse, Pilates teacher for 20 years, and a woman who got blindsided by perimenopause like everybody else.

My story

How I got here.

  1. 01The ER

    Twelve-hour shifts and no warm-up

Emergency nursing taught me how bodies break and how fast. It also taught me to ignore my own. I ate standing up and called coffee a meal.

  2. 02The studio

    Twenty years of teaching

Pilates fixed my back, then it became my work. I've watched what actually keeps women strong into their sixties and seventies.

  3. 03The wall

    Perimenopause, uninvited

The sleep went, the bloat arrived, and the workouts that had always worked stopped working. Knowing the medicine did not make it less lonely.

  4. 04Now

    Strong through the change

So I built what I needed: training for midlife bodies, food that settles your gut, honest talk about hormones, and other women to do it with.

See you on the mat, Michelle
