This is education, not medical care
Everything here (classes, articles, recipes, emails, community posts) is general information about movement, food and midlife health. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not a substitute for your own doctor, who knows your history.
Michelle's background in emergency nursing informs what she teaches, but using this site does not make you her patient and does not create a nurse-patient or any other clinical relationship.
Check with your healthcare provider before starting a new exercise program or changing your diet, supplements or hormone therapy, especially if you are pregnant or recently postpartum, have osteoporosis, heart, blood pressure, joint or pelvic floor conditions, or are recovering from surgery or injury.
Exercise carries a risk of injury. You take part at your own risk. Work within your own limits, use the gentler option when you need it, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness, chest discomfort or shortness of breath. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911.

Buying programs
- Programs bought once (such as Core Years Foundations) come with lifetime access, which means they are yours to stream for as long as we operate the service. If we ever close, we will give members reasonable notice first.
- Prices are in US dollars and are shown before you pay.
- Checkout may offer a small add-on you can tick to buy with your program in the same payment. If we show you a one-tap offer after you check out, saying yes charges the payment method you just used, for the amount shown on that page, and saying no costs nothing.
- Some programs can be paid in parts: the number of monthly payments and the amount of each are shown before you pay. The first is taken at checkout and the program opens straight away; the rest are charged to the same payment method on the same day each month, and they stop by themselves after the last one. If a later payment doesn't go through, Stripe tries again over the following days and your program stays open for 14 days. If it still can't be paid, the program pauses until you pay what's left (email us and we'll sort it out). Once every payment is made, the program is yours for good, the same as paying in full.
- Promo codes take money off when paying in full, on the programs, dates and number of uses we set for each code. A code can't be added after you've paid, can't be used on a payment plan, and a program never costs less than $1 with one.
- Memberships are not on sale at the moment. When offered, they renew automatically at the price and interval shown at checkout until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the You tab in the app; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

Refunds
If a program is not right for you, email hello@thecoreyears.com within 7 days of buying it and we will refund you in full, no questions. For memberships this applies to your first payment. For a payment plan it covers your first payment, and the payments still to come are cancelled. Refunds go back to the original payment method, and access to the refunded program ends. If you dispute a payment with your bank instead, access bought with that payment is paused until the dispute is settled.

What you can and can't do with the content
The classes, writing, recipes, photographs, names and logos belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. Buying a program gives you a personal, non-transferable right to stream it for your own use.
Please don't share your login, download or record the videos, republish our content, or use it to teach your own paid classes. If you would like to use something, ask; we often say yes.

The community
- Be kind. This is a place for women who are figuring things out.
- Share your experience, not medical instructions for someone else.
- No selling, spam, harassment or anything unlawful.
- What you post stays yours. You give us permission to show it to other members inside the app. We will never use your words or photos in marketing without asking you first.
- We may remove posts, and in serious cases close an account, to keep the space safe.

Recommendations and affiliate links
The Shelf and our recipes point to products we like. Some links earn us a commission at no cost to you. When a brand pays for a place on The Shelf it is marked Sponsored, and paid posts on our Instagram are marked #ad or Paid partnership. We only recommend what we would use without being paid.
We are not the seller; the retailer is responsible for the product, delivery and returns.

The legal part
We work hard to keep the service running and the information accurate, but we provide it "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise specific results: bodies differ, and what you get depends on many things outside our control.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, and disputes will be heard in its courts. If one part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.

Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service grows. If a change matters, we will email members before it takes effect. Questions: hello@thecoreyears.com, or write to Fusion Wellness, LLC, [MAILING ADDRESS].
